Neil’s Top Effort for Movember

Together with my son, Adam and daughter, Ashleigh, we again set out to raise funds for the Movember men’s health cause.

This year we each set ourselves a separate fundraising task and managed to raise approximately $750 from generous friends and workmates.

As I was approaching my ‘Million Metres’ milestone, I decided to make this my goal for the month with 90kms being the target. My total for the month ended up at 93.65kms…  Adam chose to cultivate a dashing moustache, and Ashleigh rode 110km on her bike.

Movember has been of special significance to my family since my prostate cancer diagnosis in 2013, and each year we have raised funds for this worthy cause.
