Welcome Palm Beach Masters!

MSQ are thrilled to welcome our newest club – QPB Palm Beach Masters!

Palm Beach Masters started the club just as lockdown occurred, then had their first training session in late June week with 22 swimmers.

Our newest club have gained the support of B E coaching who hold the coaching contracts for Palm Beach and Southport pools under contract to the Gold Coast City Council. They are working closely with B E coaching and the Council to ensure Palm Beach Masters produces a strong club into the future.

Palm Beach plans to build a club based on support, great coaching and a culture that makes everyone welcome regardless of their swimming ability.

The Palm Beach Aquatic Centre will be undergoing a 30 million dollar development in 2021, ensuring swimmers have access to a modern facility into the future. This, along with the Miami re-development and the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre at Southport, will provide a great opportunity to build Masters swimming on the Gold Coast.

First training session with Todd

The coaching team includes Todd Robinson, Alberto Lantieri and Steve Clark. Initial coaching times are:

  • 6-7pm Mondays with Steve Clark
  • 6-7pm Wednesdays with Todd Robinson
  • 9-10am Saturdays
