Come Try Comp Weekend – 14–15 June 2025

Masters Swimming Queensland is excited to launch a statewide trial of a Come Try Comp membership sign-on weekend! Scheduled for 14–15 June 2025, this initiative invites clubs across Queensland to host casual and friendly race events to introduce more adult swimmers to the fun of Masters competition.

Why Get Involved?

This relaxed, low-cost event is designed to:

• Offer adult swimmers a taste of racing in a welcoming, social environment.
• Encourage new memberships with the launch of the MSA 6-month option from 1 June.
• Strengthen club communities by promoting volunteering and participation.

What’s Involved?

Host clubs are asked to:

• Hold an informal meet on 14 or 15 June 2025.
• Keep it simple – short event programs, basic timing, and optional fun extras like raffles, BBQs or old ribbons.
• Make it accessible – low or no cost for swimmers.

MSQ will provide full promotional support, marketing materials, and assistance in linking nearby clubs to co-host.
