Miami Masters Club is once again holding the first meet of the year! The Miami Aquatic Centre will be undergoing extensive renovations for the next eighteen months or more, so we are unable to host our Swim Meet there. We are including as much information as possible about our new venue: ‘The BLK Performance Centre’ at Runaway Bay, in the hope you will be enticed to join us.
Formerly known as ‘The Sports Super Centre’, it was originally a training centre for athletes competing at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and more recently the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Now, the facilities are open to all. Features include track and field amenities, competition standard hockey pitch, saunas and heated spas, ice bath, indoor pool, and an outdoor pool. The large open-air gym has a large range of bikes, rowing machines, fixed weight machines, and free weights.
