GBRMG 2025 It’s a Wrap!

Congratulations to everyone on the success of the 2025 Great Barrier Reef Masters Games (GBRMG25).

This was the sixth delivery of swimming at the GBRMGs, and we were pleased to welcome over 220 swimmers to enjoy three days of competition at Tobruk Memorial Pool in Cairns.

Thank you to Sport Convenor, Cheryl Brodribb, and Meet Director, Ted Bunt, for all their hard work over the last 18 months to plan and deliver this event. Thank you to the Cairns Clams for your support of Cheryl, Ted and this event and for helping to secure funding to ensure the ongoing success of this event.

Thank you to Greg Flanders of Brisbane Southside Masters, for lending your voice to the Games as the meet announcer.
