MSQ Lifeblood Team Mid Year Update
Masters Swimming Queensland Lifeblood Team Mid‑Year Update (Jan–Jun 2026)
The close of June marks 12 months since the MSQ Lifeblood team formed and started to encourage members to join and donate. Across the first six months of 2026, the Masters Swimming Queensland Lifeblood Team continued its strong contribution to community health and emergency care. Queensland members recorded 16 whole blood donations and 74 plasma donations, supporting an estimated 270 lives through the national Lifeblood system.
These results reflect MSQ’s ongoing commitment to service, wellbeing, and community impact. Our swimmers, volunteers, and club leaders have embraced the Lifeblood Team as a meaningful way to extend MSQ’s values beyond the pool—showing that every donation strengthens the wider Queensland community.
Currently 40 strong, the team is spread across the regions with members from the Hervey Bay Humpbacks, North Mackay Sinkers, Long Tan Legends and the MSQ Branch adding handsomely to the generous total.
MSQ thanks all members who rolled up their sleeves in the first half of 2026. Your generosity continues to make a real difference.
It’s a great cause and is easy to join!
