Swim Fast Masters Twilight Prep Meet 2026
Musgrave Park Aquatic Centre (MPAC) welcomed 95 Masters Competitors to their Short Course Twilight Sprint event on Sunday, 22 March. This event enabled Masters Swimmers to firm up entry times for the upcoming Masters Swimming Australia 50th Edition of the MSA National Championships scheduled for 27 April to 3 May 2026.
The success of this event was made possible by:
- Bridgette and Gary Ireland, MPAC Operators, for their generous support of this event.
- Members of Team Swim Fast, Commercial Masters and The Swim Academy Masters and the MPAC staff.
Competitors aged from to 18 to 86 took to the blocks with Rosie Cornock from Glasshouse Masters (18) and Sheila Tweedy from Sunshine Coast Masters (86) showcasing that swimming is for life for all ages.
Competition on the day was fast and furious, including a challenge of endurance for swimmers who entered a large repertoire. Every competitor had goals for this event which included everything from keeping goggles on in their dives, finishing their races, or setting new benchmarks for personal bests.

- 50 Free – 27.53
- 50 Fly – 31.77
