Sunshine Coast Masters Swim Meet Wrap-Up
A Day of Records, Camaraderie, and Celebration at Kawana Aquatic Centre
On Saturday, 6 December 2025, the Sunshine Coast Masters Swim Meet brought together 24 clubs and approximately 112 swimmers at the Kawana Aquatic Centre. Under clear skies and a festive atmosphere, competitors and supporters enjoyed a day filled with racing, fun, and community spirit.
QSC kept everyone fueled and entertained with raffle prizes, sandwiches, and cakes, and after the competition, swimmers relaxed over burgers and drinks while enjoying live music from Stuart Seymour.

- Record-Breaking Performances:
- Janette Jeffries: Victoria state & national record in 200m Freestyle, plus a state record in 100m Backstroke
- Marsha Reddiex: Queensland state record in 200m Butterfly
- Trudy Ford: Queensland state record in 100m Breaststroke
- Medals were awarded to age group winners, and the day concluded with thanks to swimmers, volunteers, officials, and Kawana Aquatic Centre for making the event possible.
