Celebrating Excellence: MSQ Shines in the 2024 World Aquatics Masters Top 10

Every year, World Aquatics publishes its Masters World Top 10 — a definitive listing of the fastest individual times in each swimming event, for every age group, across the globe. Rankings are recognised in both Short Course Metres (25m pools) and Long Course Metres (50m pools). To earn a place among the World Top 10 is to be recognised among the very best in international Masters swimming — a remarkable achievement built on countless hours of training and dedication.

In 2024, Masters Swimming Queensland is proud to congratulate 35 MSQ swimmers whose outstanding performances secured them places on the Individual World Aquatics Masters Top 10 list.

Some highlights from this year’s results:

• Tracy Clarkson achieved an impressive 14 swims ranked in the World Top 10 — the highest of any MSQ swimmer.

• Lindy Salter of Miami Masters followed closely with 13 Top 10 swims.

• John McKaig of Townsville Aquaholics added further depth to the list with 10 swims in the Top 10.
